Special Constable Mark Webb, helps the Stroke Association with their Jail 'n' Bail fund raising event held in Swansea on Friday 17th December 2007.  Read on to see how the day went!

0930hrs - First stop was the Wave studio in Gorseinon, where Badger and Emma were hosting the breakfast show. Emma was about to get a big surprise, when Special Constable Mark Webb and Pc Neil Richards entered the studio and arrested her live on air! Her crime? the criminal performance she gave of a christmas song. Emma was handcuffed and led away to the nearby Police Van.

Please update the content of this webpart.1000hrs - Next stop was Swansea University, where sabbactical officers Nick Morgan and Owen Morgan were about to feel the long arm of the law, (all in the name of charity!) although both Nick and Owen thought they could out run the officers, Special Constable Mark Webb, showed that even when weighed down with all the equipement he has to carry, they were never going to get too far before he caught them!

Next up was Owen, who believed he could out run the officers! big mistake!

Please update the content of this webpart.1030hrs - Councillor Stuart Rice was easily found lurking in the university offices and was duely arrested for 'Breaking the ancient Cromwellian Law of eating mince pies!' Councillor Rice decided in for a penny, in for a pound and tried to destroy the evidence by eating the mince pie in front of the officers, who had no option but to handcuff him and lead him off to the waiting van.

Image not found. Please update the content of this webpart.1050hrs - It was a quick sprint over to the council offices, where Cllr Kinzett was arrested for talking too much in meetings. there were many members of staff around who cheered when he was led away.

Image not found. Please update the content of this webpart.1100hrs - last but not least, it was the turn of Cllr Peter May, another one who tried to out run Special Constable Webb, but once again good prevailed and Cllr May was led away in cuffs.

1100hrs - It was back to the Guildhall where a make shift detention room was set up and all the 'Felons' had to phone numerous friends and benefactors to raise their bail money.

The Lord Mayor, Cllr Susan Waller was also on hand to offer her support. Luckily for the 'Felons' it was more than bread and water that awaited them and they were treated to a champayne lunch as a thankyou from the Stroke Association for all their efforts in raising over £3,600 for the charity.
